Data snapshot: 14 July 2026 (PKT): We analysed all 12,885 published Pakistan reports in the WhoseNo database, normalised common number formats and ranked clear negative classifications rather than simple call volume. We also checked company claims against official contact pages. The results show where complaints are concentrated—and why “most reported” does not automatically mean “fraudulent.”
The dataset covers 17 April 2018 through 14 July 2026 and contains 12,819 non-empty comments. After merging variants such as 0512521013 and 512521013, we found 3,178 valid Pakistani numbers and excluded 842 malformed-number rows. About 50.9% of all Pakistan reports arrived between April and July 2026, but a sudden reporting burst is a signal to investigate—not proof of a nationwide trend. The ranking counts normalised reports carrying explicit negative classifications; reports were not deduplicated by person.
Across the full dataset, 5,938 of 12,885 reports (46.1%) carried explicit negative classifications. These included 2,318 spam/robocall reports, 1,449 scam-suspicion reports and 645 marketing/telemarketer reports.

Method note: “Explicit negative” includes spam/robocall, marketing/telemarketer, scam suspicion, harassment, phishing, debt collection and unwanted-call classifications. These are user reports, not official findings. Counts combine normalised formatting variants but are not deduplicated by person, so an individual number page may show fewer reports if its stored variants have not yet been merged on that page.
What callers reported about the leading numbers
051-7080562: silent calls, quick hang-ups and repeated attempts
This Islamabad/Rawalpindi-format landline is the clear volume leader: 553 reports since 16 April 2026, including 381 explicit negatives. Among detailed comments, the recurring description is a call that goes silent or disconnects quickly. Some users said a callback produced a nonexistent-number message. One report described a financial promotion, but a single claim does not establish who placed the call.
Silent calls can come from predictive diallers that connect recipients before an agent is available. They can also be test calls, misconfigured systems or caller-ID spoofing. The database supports calling this number heavily reported; it does not support naming a company or declaring every call fraudulent.
The 051-25210xx cluster: similar timing and complaint patterns
Three closely related numbers—051-2521013, 051-2521025 and 051-2521017—occupy three of the top six positions, while 051-2521019 ranks eighth. Among detailed comments, users describe repeated calls, silence, dropped connections and marketing. A few said a caller claimed to represent PTCL, Jazz or JazzCash; some alleged requests to press 1, verify account information or disclose an OTP.
Those allegations are important safety signals, but they remain unverified accounts. A shared prefix does not prove that the same subscriber controls every number, and the 051 area code only indicates an Islamabad/Rawalpindi landline format. If a caller claims to represent a telecom or wallet, end the call and use the provider’s official app or published helpline.
0348-1117373: officially listed by easypaisa, yet frequently unwanted
This is the most important company-verification result. Easypaisa’s official contact page currently lists 0348-1117373 among its outbound numbers. That verifies an operational association, not every call displaying the number, and makes it inappropriate to label the number itself a proven scam line. Some of its 186 negative classifications could reflect unwanted outbound contact.
An official association still does not make every displayed call or request safe. Caller ID can be spoofed, and easypaisa’s fraud guidance says anyone asking for your OTP is a fraudster. Verify activity inside the official app. Easypaisa publishes 3737 for Telenor-network users and +92-(021/042/051)-111-003-737 for users on other networks.
0313-5442150 and 0313-5442340: repeated calls, no verified owner
Among detailed comments about 0313-5442150, users focus on silence and hang-ups. Three mention Zong, and one isolated comment about 0313-5442340 does the same. Neither exact number appears on Zong’s official contact page. A mobile prefix can indicate the number’s original network allocation, but number portability and spoofing mean it cannot prove the current caller or owner.
051-8857373 and 0344-3737111: easypaisa claims need caution
Among detailed comments, several users associated these numbers with easypaisa, but neither exact number appears on the company’s current outbound list. The second case is especially easy to misread: easypaisa officially lists 0343-3737111, while the reported number is 0344-3737111. That one-digit difference could indicate a lookalike, a reporting typo or an unrelated number. Always compare every digit before trusting a caller-ID label.
High raw counts that did not qualify as leading spam signals
Some highly reported numbers were deliberately kept out of the top ranking:
- 051-2266666 has 201 reports but only 60 explicit negatives. Many comments describe a silent call or a customer survey rather than a scam.
- 051-7080166 has 187 reports but 54 explicit negatives. Users mention Zong and insurance, but no official source confirms ownership.
- 0345-0002968 has 145 reports, yet many comments concern seeing the number in call-forwarding settings. That is more consistent with voicemail or forwarding confusion than proof that the number is malicious.
This filtering is why the article is not simply a list of pages with the most comments. A useful spam ranking has to distinguish clear negative classifications from unknown, safe or ambiguous reports.
Can WhoseNo verify the company behind a number?
Only when an authoritative source publishes the exact number. In this investigation, easypaisa currently lists 0348-1117373 for outbound calls. Claims involving JazzCash, Zong, PTCL and other brands on the remaining leading numbers were not confirmed by the official contact pages checked.
Directory names and caller-ID labels are useful leads, not subscriber records. They may come from community comments, a user’s contacts, an app label or the name a caller supplied. Spoofing can also make an innocent number appear on the screen. We therefore use phrases such as “users associated the number with” unless an official source verifies the connection.
What to do after a suspicious call in Pakistan
- Never disclose an OTP, PIN, password or card security code. Do not press a key to “approve” or “cancel” a wallet, insurance or telecom transaction you did not initiate.
- Verify through a separate channel. End the call and open the provider’s official app or website. For example, Zong publishes 310 and (051) 111-222-111; use published contacts rather than a callback number supplied by the caller.
- Block and document repeat calls. Keep the displayed number, time, screenshots and any SMS. Do not publish your CNIC, account number or other private data in a public comment.
- Use PTA’s official complaint system. The PTA Complaint Management System accepts online telecom complaint registration and tracking.
- Report spam SMS correctly. Zong publishes the 9000 format: send the sender’s number, a space and the spam message to 9000. Jazz publishes Do Not Call instructions using 3627; follow your own operator’s current guidance.
- If money or an account is at risk, call the bank or wallet immediately. Freeze the affected account, change credentials from a trusted device, call the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency on 1799 and file through the official NCCIA complaint portal.
Pakistan’s National CERT also warns that account hijackers may use phishing, QR codes, OTP social engineering or call-forwarding codes. Its 2026 WhatsApp security advisory recommends two-step verification, checking forwarding status with *#21# and cancelling suspicious forwarding with ##21#.

Contact the relevant bank, wallet or telecom through its official emergency channel immediately, freeze access where possible, change credentials from a trusted device and preserve evidence for a formal complaint.
