Caller said I was being questioned about tax fraud.
They left a message telling me there is an action against me blah, blah, blah. Called the number and a woman told me about some CITI credit card taken out 12 years ago and a balance unpaid. Then a payment was made in 2015 of $100. Told them I had no idea what they were talking about and that CITI has never contacted me about a payment problem, nor do I believe I have ever had a CITI card. I told them my FICO score is 844 so it is unlikely that I have a problem. She then said good luck going forward when action is taken against me and then promptly hung up. This is a scam. Don't buy their BS. It's one thing to go after non-payment, but creating debts where none exist is fraud and a criminal action. I hope the feds go after these pieces of...
