Just had call from this ‘London’ number. I could hardly make out what the Asian male was saying due to poor English and accent. He mumbled the company name and asked what handset I was using because he could do phone upgrades. Straight away I asked him how I got my number and he just said from ‘a list’ and that they work with all the major networks. I explained that didn’t answer my question, he repeated it and said he did explain. I also explained I value privacy, I don’t give my number to anyone and my network does not share my number. I told him don’t phone me again, remove my number from their list and I cancelled the call. Now blocked on my phone. Sounds like a scam.

Caller claimed to be from Repair Services saying I had a contract with them via direct debit, though i had never claimed. He knew my address & bank details but i have no recollection of insuring my domestic appliances with a company of this name. He was rather more pressing/aggressive than most commercial reps are - I cut the call short.
