Offered to buy item on Gumtree without viewing or checking size. Wanted PayPal details for payment and would send shipping agent to collect item and deliver to his family - same photo of policeman which confirmed s/he wasn't genuine.
Made out he was interested in buying an item through Gumtree. Happy to pay full price by the looks of things and just wanted all my PayPal and email details. used a photograph of a police officer in the met as his profile picture so will be reporting this to my local police with his telephone number as it is an offence to impersonate a police person.
I tried to sell some goods online. He has messaged me, not really interested about the item, but very quick to pay me. SCAMMERS! Sending you fake emails (saying is from paypal) asking you to buy a steam gift card for £200 then will appears the payment on your account.
