AT&T Phishing

They had an indian brogue that was hard to understand. The displayed phone number was 309-628-9034. They gave me the number above to call back(213-653-5135). I did call, and it went back to the same guy who called earlier, wanting me to reset his email password. They had the Employee's name, DOB, and Employee number. I asked him to come to the main office because other things weren't matching up. They said okay and hung up abruptly. I had called the employee with the phone number on record. Of course, it was the legitamit employee on line this time.

Unknown Other

This nimber is being used for the purpose of blackmailing men who use online dating/ meet up sights. The angle that is used unfolds as so. The alleged perpetrators are pretending to be a young adult misrepresenting their age. They will ask for your number, and if it is given, these persons will text you and send nude pics to your phone. The following day, you will recieve another text from this supposed minor's parent, telling you that you need to call them or they will turn you in to the ICAC. If you do not respond, the following day, you will get a call fron yet another number, and the person you speak with is an African American male, voice sounds to be as if he is between 35 and 50 yrs old, who claims to be Lt. Kenneth Bay, of the ICAC task force. He will then proceed to recap the text the alleged parents of this minor sent to you, and then threaten you with 1 to 15 years Federal Time for having s*xual communications w a minor via the internet. After the threat, then 'Lt. Kenneth Bay' will give you two options- take it to court, or talk to the parents to settle the matter w a Civil Litigation (which basically means they want money from you to not pursue criminal charges against you). If you agree to this, you will then get yet another call from another number from 'Lt. Bay'. He will keep you on hold, have three other African Americans (a man, a woman, and a young man), get on ahd have a three way conversation with you, attempting to make you feel as if you're some sort of sick pedophile because thier 'kid' contacted you and sent you nude pics. If you call any of these numbers back, they go to voicemail.... GOOGLE voicemail. Please don't fall for this. The area codes of the numbers these alleged scammers are currently using as of 03/31/2025 are 857 (alleged minor and parents) 844 and 843 (Lt. Bay).

Toll-Free Number Other

The person calling from this number is a part of an entrapment scam. They pose as a Federal Agent, and attempt to extort money from people who use online dating sites by having someone pretend to be an underage person who misrepresents their age. They will obtain your phone number. Then, this alleged minor's father will reach out telling you to contact his family or they will turn you in to the ICAC. If you do not respond to the message that is sent from this number, the person in question then contacts you from the number being reported. If you call the number back, you'll get a completely different person's voicemail who, also, claims to be an agent with an assistant.

Everything you need to know about phone number lookup in United States

Enter the US phone number in WhoseNo's search box. Our free reverse lookup searches millions of records to identify the caller, show carrier information (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile), display user reports, and reveal if the number has been reported as spam or robocall.

The USA country code is +1, shared with Canada and other North American countries under the NANP (North American Numbering Plan). US numbers are formatted as +1 (XXX) XXX-XXXX, where XXX is the area code. For example, a New York number (212) 555-1234 becomes +1-212-555-1234 internationally.

Unlike some countries, US phone numbers aren't assigned to specific carriers by prefix. Due to number portability, users can switch carriers while keeping their number. Our lookup tool queries carrier databases to identify the current service provider for any US number.

Yes, WhoseNo provides completely free reverse phone lookup for all US numbers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and regional carrier mobiles, as well as landlines across all 50 states. No registration or payment is required to search numbers or view results.

WhoseNo shows information that's publicly available or user-reported. This may include names from social media profiles, business registrations, or community reports. We don't have access to private telecom company databases or government records.

Common scams include IRS impersonation calls demanding immediate payment, tech support scams claiming your computer has a virus, Social Security scams threatening arrest, fake lottery/prize calls, loan and debt relief scams, Medicare fraud calls, and package delivery text scams from fake USPS or UPS.
