Claimed to be BT but did not use my name & gave an incorrect account number for me?
Male caller claimed to be Care Co (a disabled equipment retailer). He asked if I was alarmed at the new government announcement re disabled people. I doubted that Care Co would be making this type of call so I asked a question, not a difficult one, the caller immediately baled out. I deduce that the point is to frighten elderly or disabled people into revealing financial info and/or signing up to some scam.
